Regulation for Transfering Credits

 Regulation for Transferring Credits
(1) Processes: Students need to fill out the application forms and submit it to the department office before the deadline.
(2) Regulations:
      i. The credits cannot be transferred as long as the course titles are different.
      ii. The credits to be transferred cannot exceed the credits given to the corresponding course in our department.
      iii. For a semester course, the credits are not allowed to be transferred if the credits transferee earned from his/her original school are less than the credits given to the same course in our department.  For an academic year course, if the total credits of the course the transferee earned from his/her original school are less than the total credits given to the same course in our department, the credits can only be transferred for the first semester of the same course. The transferee is still required to take the second half of the course.
      iv. Elective course credits cannot be transferred to required course credits. 
      v. For the required courses, such as Principles of Economics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, the credits can be transferred only if the transferee has obtained a score of 60 points or above for these corresponding courses in the transfer exam.
      vi. For junior students, if the transferee reaches a score of 60 points or above on either Microeconomics or Macroeconomics in the transfer exam, his/her credits on Principles of Economics are permissible to be transferred.
      vii. For the non-required credits of professional course, the credits can be transferred only if the transferee either obtains a score of 70 points from his/her original school or reaches a score of 60 points or above for the corresponding course in the transfer exam.
     viii. For the elective course, the credits can be transferred only if the transferee has passed the course from his/her original school.
