Fundamentals and Applications of Ultrasonics

Course Description

In this course, students will learn the basic scientific principles and applications of ultrasonics so that they can perform their applications for intended function. This requires that students are able to calculate and predict the mode of PZT transducers and correlated horns for different conditions.  Finally, an ultrasound device can be designed and fabricated for practical uses.  Moreover, the effects of the ultrasound on the environment, resource saving, and lifestyle enhancement are considered in this course.
