The students in this course will learn the structures and related knowledge about preamplifiers, power amplifiers and filters in acoustic systems. The abilities of students to analyze and compare the different amplifiers as well as filters will be established after this course and designs are verified by means of SPICE simulation in this course. In addition, the class-D amplifiers, the noise reduction and grounding/shielding techniques are also discussed.
